NEST Exam 2024 Registration open – Nest Application Form
NISER Bhubaneswar and UM-DAE CEBS Mumbai release official notification for NEST 2024. National Institute for Science Education, Bhubaneshwar and University of Mumbai – Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences both collaborate on conducting the examination. Online application for NEST 2024 start from 1st April 2024.
National Education Screening Test 2024 allows admissions in NISER and UM-DAE-CEBS itself for the session 2024. There are total 257 seats in NEST 2024. For CEBS there are 57 seats and in NISER there are 200 seats. The exam takes place across 120 cities in India like Pune, Ahmedabad, Mandi, Jammu and Port Blair etc.
Candidates who want to take admission in NISER and UM-DAE-CEBS can apply for online examination 2024. Students after clearing their 12th standards with aggregate 55% marks are eligible to apply for the exam. Last date for NEST 2024 is 31st May 2024 and admit cards will be available from 15th June 2024. NEST 2024 exam date is 30 June 2024. The final result of NEST 2024 announce 10 July 2024.

What is NEST 2024?
National Entrance Screening Test 2024 is an admission test that is conducted to regulate admissions in NISER and UM-DAE-CEBS. This is an online exam and the application is also through online mode only. It is for under-graduate programmes like B.Sc, M.Sc and various integrated courses for session 2024. Students after their 12th can appear for NEST 2024.
Eligibility for NEST 2024
- Candidate must have cleared class 12th standard in the year 2022, 2023 or going to appear in 2024 12th exam or equivalent.
- Aggregate 60% marks in 12th or equivalent courses from a recognised institution. For SC/St and Divyangjan candidates the minimum aggregate marks is 55%.
- Secure position in Merit list of NEST 2024.

Selection and Merit list process of NEST 2024
- Scoring system– consider best of 3 marks out of 4 subjects. Exam conducted in 2 sessions of 2 subjects each.
- Section-wise Minimum Admissible Score/ section cut-off– For each section, “20% of the average of the best 100 scores in that section” will beconsidered as Section–wise Minimum Admissible Score (SMAS).

- Click on the confirmation link sent to the registered email ID.
- Log in with the registered email ID and password.
- Fill in your details like personal and academic information
- Pay application fee for NEST 2024.
- Click on Submit and Save. Your NEST 2024 application is now submit. Download a copy of this form.
- When Admit card release on 15 June 2024, log in again and download admit card.
