Tamil Nadu Education department announce Admission open its schools under RTE scheme. Right to Education category Admission start soon on official website. Under this scheme many under privileged children get a chance to study for free in schools all across Tamil Nadu. Schedule of Admission under soon made public by administrator of schools.

TN schools RTE Admission 2024 for class LKG to 1^st soon announce by Education department Tamil Nadu. Application for Admission shall start on online mode only. Admission application start from April 20^th. RTE Admission provide free education to children from poor families under RTE Act. Admission conducted for total of 1 lakh seats in various schools.

Applications accepted through online mode only from government official Admission site or site of private schools. Then a lottery take place in the month of May to roll out names of selected candidates under the scheme. Selected candidates shall reach the school before due date with all the necessary document of child. In case the child fails to do so their seat is cancel. There are around 9000 open seats and there is no application fee. People can visit official government  portal for more information or can also visit website of respective schools.

What is RTE Admission?

Under Right to Education Act children under 14 years of age have a right to free and compulsory education. All the private schools in this regard have to reserve up to 25% of their total seats for children from economically weaker sections.

RTE Act introduced in India in the year 2009 and is applicable to all states and schools.

 AIM of RTE

Providing free and compulsory elementary education to kids between the age group of 6 years to 14 years. The Indian government wants every Indian child to get a quality education, irrespective of gender, caste, creed, and family income.

RTE Admission selection process 2024

Applications take place for 25% seats in private schools. Then in May a lottery event shall take place to select names of children selected for Admission. Selected students with their important information shall visit the school on the date of their reporting.

Check eligibility for TN RTE Admission 2024

• Child is a resident of Tamil Nadu
• Child family belong to EWS category
• Annual income of family is less than 2 lakh rupees.
• Age of child for LKG Admission is between 31^st July 2015 too 31^st July 2017.

Follow these steps for TN RTE Admission 2024

1. First of official website of TN RTE Admission tn.rteadmissions.gov.in
2. Click on Start application. You get directed to a new page
3. Do you first time Registration. Enter your details like Name, gender, select class as per DOB. Enter your email id and password. Click on save
4. Go back to start page of website and enter Login details of children by entering application number and password.
5. Enter your address.
6. Upload all the required documents for TN RTE Admission 2024

6.3 Aadhar card or ration card of the child and parent

6.4 Income certificate for weaker section candidates

6.5 Community certificate for disadvantaged group candidates

7. From the list of schools, choose the schools you want to take Admission in.
8. Click on save and submit
