NIOS Hall Ticket 2025
National Institute for Open Schooling release Hall tickets for class 10th and 12th Exams coming up on April-May 2025. There are two types of hall ticket i.e Hall ticket for theory Examination and Hall ticket for Practical examination. Examinations for Secondary and senior secondary courses (10th and 12th ) start from March 2024 to May 2024. These exams are divided in two parts i.e Practical and Theory.
The Practical Examination of Secondary and Senior Secondary courses of NIOS public courses 2025 are starting from March 11 2025. These exams end on March 27th 2025. There are total four slots between which many exams shall take place. The NIOS Public Examination Theory for Secondary a Senior Secondary courses is scheduled to start on April 6th 2025.
Hall ticket for exams is available on official website of NIOS for both examinations separately. Students who have paid the examination fee can go to the portal. They enter their Enrollment number and Hall ticket type and then download their hall ticket. Examination fee for NIOS secondary exam practical is Rs 120, for theory its Rs 250 and an additional processing fee of Rs 50.

What is NIOS?
The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS), formerly National Open School is a national level board of education in India, controlled and managed by the Government of India. It was established by the Ministry of Education (erstwhile Ministry of Human Resource Development) of the Government of India in 1989.
NIOS enrolls about 350,000 students annually which makes it the largest open schooling system in the world. It also has study centres for Indian expatriates in the Bahrain, United Arab Emirates, Oman, Kuwait, Nepal, Canada, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Australia, United Kingdom, New Zealand, Malaysia, Singapore and the United States of America.

There are generally two types of examinations held by NIOS for normal courses and for additional online courses. These are on various secondary and senior secondary level. Mainly 4 streams but overall are in the following manner:

Steps to download NIOS Hall ticket 2024
- Go to official website of nios i.e sdmis.nios.ac.in
- Go to exams & results tab and click Examination. Then click on download Hall ticket April/May 2024.
- A new page appears on the screen. Now fill your 12 digit enrolment number and select Hall ticket type i.e either Theory examination or Hall ticket for practical Examination.
- Click on Submit.
- Your NIOS hall ticket 2024 download is now ready.
NIOS Secondary and Senior Secondary Practical exams Datesheet for public exams 2024
Pratical exams start on 11th March 2024 to 27th March 2024. There are 4 slots of 4 days for both secondary and senior secondary examinations. 1st slot is from 11th-14 March, 2nd Slot is from 15th-18th March, 3rd slot from 19th-22nd March and finally last slot from 23rd-27 March. Theory exams start on 6th April 2024 from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm and 1st exam is of Sanskrit and Veda Adhyayan, Early Childhood care & education and Employability Skills & Entrepreneurship. NIOS public exams Secondary and Senior Secondary Theory examination 2024 end on 22nd May 2024. NIOS Theory exam of secondary and Senior secondary exams results release 7 weeks after last exam.
