The authority responsible for conducting various central government recruitments has now launched its new portal for easy and one time registration of candidates. This new website is ssc.gov.in and it went live on 17th February.
Registration is mendatory for all those who want to get recruited in any of civil government services like Graduate Level- Assistants, Auditors/Jr.Accountants/Upper Division Clerks, Divisional Accountants, Inspectors of Income Tax/Central Excise, Sub-Inspectors in Central Police Organisations (CRPF, BSF, CISF, ITBP and SSB) and the CBI, Section Officer (Commercial) and Section Officer (Audit). Matric Level- Stenographer Grade `C`, Stenographer Grade `D`, and Lower Division Clerks.
There is no registration fee requirement. No eligibility criteria is set for SSC One Time Registration 2024 other than usual standards of respective posts. After this one time registration candidates don’t need to register themselves for various exams again and again. They simply have to fill in their ‘log-in’ details and then fill the respective job form. It will save a lot of time of candidates and also reduce burden on government’s resources.
Usually at the time of announcement of certain exams the websites get flooded with applications and the servers get burdened with such huge amounts of traffic all of a sudden. This OTR service will prove beneficial in re-distributing that load.

About SSC One Time Registration 2024 facillity
It is an initiative of DPT to provide an easy way of application to civil service candidates. On the official portal of ssc, anyone within age limit of their target job can register in advance. Then at the time of recruitment announcement they just have to log in again and fill in the related application form. There is no registration fee. There are no documents required for registration. Only the numbers of the certificates need to be mentioned. Registration is open on all days and at all times. Candidates can register well in advance. It is a mandatory process for all SSC jobs candidates.

Process of SSC OTR 2024 new registration
- Go to official new website of SSC i.e ssc.gov.in. On top right corner, select the option of ‘Log in or Register’. A pop up box will appear.
2.On ‘Candidate’ side click on ‘Register now’ option below.
3. You will redirect to new candidate OTR page. Click on ‘Continue’.
4. Personal details form will appear. Enter your Adhaar card number, Parents names, 10th class board and roll number, mobile number, email id and press ‘Save and Next’.
5.Your registration number appears. Understand the instructions given. Click on Continue
NOTE-Basic details saved during this registration is partial and it should be completed within 14 days failing which your data would be automatically deleted.
6. A ‘sign in’ page appears. Fill in the registration number that you received on registered mobile number and e mail id. Click on ‘Sign in’.
- Set your password. Choose your security questions. Click on ‘Save and Next’.
8. Log in with registration number and password. Click on ‘Log in’
9.Fill in Additional Details. Category, Nationality, Visible identification marks on body, Benchmark disability if any, Permanent Address and Present Address. Click on ‘Save and Next’.
10.Declaration page opens. Read and understand the conditions. Tick mark the box that says ‘I Agree’. Click Declare.
11. You One Time Registration 2024 is now complete.
When your desired posts recruitment gets announced, you can go to official website. Log in again and then fill out the application form as usual. All other procedures remain unchanged.
