Ministry of Agriculture and farmers welfare release notification for 16th pay installment of PM KISAN scheme on 28 February 2024. To claim the benefits of upto Rs 2000/– farmers must do their e-KYC registration 2024. New farmers Registration also open for PM KISAN Yojana. It is the 16th kist/ instalment of the entire scheme and 1st kist/ instalment of the year 2024. There are total 3 instalments of Rs 2000/- each.

Farmers can register themselves online for first time or log in and update their e-KYC details. It is an OTP based KYC which can be done on the official website or by visiting CSC(Common Service Centre) centre and submitting the application form offline.

कृषि और किसान कल्याण मंत्रालय ने 28 फरवरी 2024 को पीएम किसान योजना की 16वीं वेतन किस्त के लिए अधिसूचना जारी की। 2000/- रुपये तक के लाभ का दावा करने के लिए किसानों को अपना ई-केवाईसी पंजीकरण 2024 करना होगा। पीएम किसान योजना के लिए नए किसानों का पंजीकरण भी खुला है। . यह पूरी योजना की 16वीं किस्त/किस्त है और वर्ष 2024 की पहली किश्त है। इसमें 2000/- रुपये की कुल 3 किश्तें हैं।

किसान पहली बार खुद को ऑनलाइन पंजीकृत कर सकते हैं या लॉग इन कर सकते हैं और अपने ई-केवाईसी विवरण अपडेट कर सकते हैं। यह एक ओटीपी आधारित केवाईसी है जिसे आधिकारिक वेबसाइट पर या सी.एस.सी (कॉमन सर्विस सेंटर) केंद्र पर जाकर और ऑफ़लाइन आवेदन पत्र जमा करके किया जा सकता है।

What is PM KISAN Yojana e-KYC?

Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi is an initiative by central government launched on 24 February 2019. It is launched and managed by Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers welfare. It allows all the poor farmers in the country to get Rs 2000/- in their accounts on a quarterly basis. Under this scheme farmers get a total yearly income support of up to Rs 6000/- directly in their accounts. The three instalments usually fall in the quarters of April-July,August-November and December-March. Only marginal farmers on per family basis are eligible to get benefit of PM KISAN scheme. Only land owners can take benefit of this scheme not the tenants.

Farmers have to register on this official website of PM-Kisan and get their e-KYC complete. They can also visit  nearby CSC centre for offline regsitration to get personal assistance. After successful registration and e-KYC they will receive instalments in their respective bank accounts. Farmers from all over the country can register and take benefit of the scheme. Facilities provided under PM-Kisan portal include PM-KISAN total budget allotment for the year 2024-25 is Rs 60,000 crores.

  • Farmer is a resident of India
  • Land of farming is in the name of farmer.
  • Farmer belong to small & Marginal Farmer category
  • No member of the family pays tax.
  • Area of land can be more or less than 2 hectare.

Who are not eligible for this scheme

  • Any former or present holders of constitutional posts.
  • Former and present members of legislative assemblies.
  • All serving and retired officers, central government employees.
  • The superannuate/retire pensioners whose monthly pension is Rs 10,000 or more.
  • Person who pays income tax in the last assessment year.
  • Professionals like Doctors, Engineers, Teachers, Lawyers etc.
  • Tenant of the land.

Check beneficiaries list for PM-Kisan yojana

All the eligible farmers after their registration start receiving their installments and become beneficiaries. Unless a farmer is register they cannot become beneficiary. So, if your name is not in the PM-Kisan Beneficiary list 2024, follow above mention registration process. A registered farmer can follow these steps to check full beneficiaries list of current year;

  1. Go to official website pmkisan.gov.in
  2. Click on ‘Beneficiaries list’ Box. Your redirect to next page.
  3. Fill in details of your district, Town, block and village.
  4. Click on ‘Get report’. PM KISAN Beneficiary List is visible on your screen.

PM-KISAN e-KYC steps 2024

It is mendatory for all the eligible farmers to complete their e-KYC to avail benefits under the scheme. The farmer can do their KYC online or offline by visiting the nearest Common Service Centre. The steps for doing KYC is as follows:

  1. Go to official website of PM-KISAN.
  2. In “Farmers Corner” and select e-KYC option.
  3. Type your Aadhar number and hit on the “Search” button.
  4. Enter the OTP sent on your registered mobile number and now click on the “Submit OTP” button.
  5. Your PM KISAN e-KYC is now complete.

Steps for New registration PM KISAN 2024/Check application status

Farmers who are not yet register under this scheme by the concerned nodal officer are not eligible to claim benefits of e-KYC or installments. They can follow these steps to register themselves for PM KISAN scheme:

  1. Farmers can go to official website i.e pmkisan.gov.in.
  2. Click on new registration.
  3. Select your category from options of ‘rural farmer’ or ‘urban farmer’. Enter your Adhaar details and select state. Fill captcha and click on ‘get otp’.
  4. Enter OTP which you will recieve on your aadhaar card registered mobile number. Enter this OTP in box and click on verify aadhaar OTP (see screenshot below).
  5. Fill information like state, district, block etc. Enter your Land ID registration.
  6. Upload the require documetns and then click on ‘save’ option.
  7. You PM Kisan new registration is now successful,
  8. To check the status of PM Kisan application. Go to official site again and click on ‘Status of Self registered farmers/CSC farmers’.
  9. Enter your Adhaar and verify captcha. Application status is visible on screen.
