The National Testing Agency release official notification on 9 February 2024 about conducting the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test [(NEET (UG)] – 2024 on 05 May 2024. Initially, The registration window for the NEET (UG) – 2024 open from 09 February to 09 March 2024. Now, registration window for the NEET (UG) – 2024 is further extended up to 16 March 2024 as per new Public notice.
NEET (UG) – 2024] is scheduled on 05 May 2024 (Sunday) in Pen and Paper mode in 13 languages. It has been a qualifying entrance exam since 2020 for admission to the MBBS/BDS courses in AIIMS and JIPMER. NEET Entrance Exam consists of 200 multiple-choice questions from Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany and Zoology). Each question consists of four options with a single correct answer. 50 questions in each subject is divided into two sections (A and B). The duration of NEET examination is 200 minutes (3 hours 20 minutes).

Syllabus and Pattern of NTA NEET 2024

NMC (National Medical Commission) did release the syllabus of NTA NEET (UG) 2024. The question paper will ne based on the given syllabus which is available on the NMC website (NEET-UG | NMC). The subjects included in NEET NTA Syllabus are Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany and Zoology).
- Pattern of the Test
The Test pattern of NTA (UG) – 2024 comprises four Subjects. Each subject will consist of two sections. Section A will consist of 35 Questions and Section B will have 15 Questions. Out of these 15 Questions, candidates can choose to attempt any 10 Questions. So, the total number of questions and utilization of time will remain the same.
