AIIMS INICET Final Registration Form 2024
The INICET 2024 July session will be conducted for admission to postgraduate courses (MD, MS, DM (6 years), MCh (6 years) and MDS) at Institutes of National Importance (INIs) for medical education in 22 institutions, namely AIIMS-New Delhi and all other AIIMS, JIPMER-Puducherry, NIMHANS-Bengaluru, PGIMER-Chandigarh and SCTIMST-Trivandrum. The exam is on May 19, 2024.
Institute of National Importance Super-Specialty Entrance Test (INI-SS) is organise by The All-India Institute of Medical Sciences, (AIIMS). This exam takes place twice a year in January and July sessions in online (CBT) mode for admission to 365 DM, 231 M.Ch. 29 MD (Hospital Administration) seats. INI SS exam 2024 takes place on April 27, 2024.
INICET 2024 is also organise by AIIMS and its full form is Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test conducted for admission to MD/MS, MCh courses. INI SS is entrance test organise for DM/MCh and MD hospital administration course. INICET 2024 is for postgraduate level course while INI SS is for post-doctoral courses.
What is AIIMS INICET 2024?
INI-CET is a common entrance test that currently substitutes for all post graduate entrance tests of AIIMS, JIPMER, NIMHANS and others for admission into post graduate courses such as MD, MS, DM (6 years), MCh (6 years) and MDS. It takes place twice a year typically in the month of May for admission to the July session in the same year and month of November for admission starting January in the succeeding year.
INICET 2024 takes place in online mode where there are total 200 MCQs and total exam duration of 3 hours. For every correct answer, +1 mark for correct asnwer and for every wrong answer one-third mark deducts. The INICET 2024 July session result will be made available on May 25, 2024.

INICET 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Medical graduates must fulfil certain eligibility criteria of the INICET 2024 July session. These eligibility criteria for the July session of INICET 2024 are as follows-
- An applicant must possess an MBBS degree for MD/MS/DM-6yrs/MCh-6yrs and a BDS degree for MDS courses. Foreign nationals in addition to this, should possess a 12 months compulsory rotatory internship.
- The 12 months compulsory rotatory internship should have been completed on or before July 31, 2024.
- The medical graduate should have scored a minimum of 55% marks (50% for reserved category) in MBBS or BDS degree.

Institute of National Importance Super Specialty Test (INI SS) is a national level medical entrance exam. To get admission to DM/M.Ch. seats through the common entrance test, candidates must meet the INI SS eligibility criteria 2024 as mention below

Eligibility criteria MD (Hospital Administration)
- An MBBS or equivalent degree is a must.
- Candidates must have a minimum of three years of experience in government hospitals or five years of experience in general practice.
- Candidates belonging to the UR/OBC/EWS/Sponsored category must get 55% in aggregate in MBBS whereas those belonging to SC/ST need a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
- Registration with the Central /State Medical Registration Council is mendatory.
- Candidates who are graduates of foreign universities must fill in their FMGE exam marks in the application form.

INI SS 2024 Admit Card
The INI SS 2024 Admit is available through online mode. The INISS hall ticket for July session will release on 22nd April 2024 for July session. To download the INI SS Admit Card, candidates have to enter registeration id and password.
The admit card contains details such as exam name, date, venue for exam, timings, and personal details. No candidate shall enter the exam hall without valid admit card. Candidates need to take the printout of the admit card to carry on the day of the examination.
INI SS 2024 Result
AIIMS Delhi declares the INI SS 2024 result for all INI’s and a separate result of stage I for AIIMS applicants. Candidates who make into in the AIIMS merit list further get a call for departmental assessment. The authority will announce the final result after the departmental assessment. INI SS 2024 Merit list
Based on the performance in stage I and stage II, the authority publishes two merit lists namely, the common merit list and the AIIMS merit list. The factors in preparing the merit lists are below.
a)Common merit list (CML)
- Candidates must have appeared and qualified in the stage I test.
- Qualified candidates will be assigned a rank and placed in the merit list in order of overall rank.
- The merit list will be utilised to grant admission to INI seats except for AIIMS.
b)AIIMS merit list (AML)
- Candidates must have appeared and qualified for stage I and stage II tests.
- Merit list of AIIMS qualified candidates is prepared considering the marks obtained in stage I and stage II combined.
- Qualified candidates will be assigned a rank and placed in the list in order of overall rank.
c) INI SS 2024: Tie-breaking criteria
- If two or more candidates obtain the same marks in the common entrance test, candidates older in age gets preference in the merit list.
INI SS 2024 Counselling
INICET 2024 provides admission to various courses such as Doctor of Medicine (MD), Master of Surgery (MS), Master of Dental Surgery (MDS), Doctorate of Medicine (DM), Master of Chirurgiae (MCh). AIIMS conducts INI SS 2024 counselling in online mode. Candidates in merit list are eligible to participate in the counselling process. To participate in the counselling, candidates must register online and fill in choices for colleges and specialities.
The authority will conduct a total of 3 rounds for INI SS 2024 seat allocation. After the allocation of seats, candidates will have to choose any one option from the below-mentioned options.
- Option 1. Accept the allotted Institute and do not wish to participate in further rounds of INI SS 2024 counselling.
- Option 2. Accept the allotted Institute but want to participate in the next round of counselling.
- In case a candidate opts for option 2, he/she will have to accept the seat allotted in this round. The seat allotted in the first round is mention as vacant.
