JEE Mains 2024 Admit Card [City Intimation Slip]
National Testing agency which is responsible for conducting national level JEE examination announce advance intimation for examination city on March 27 2024. Joint Entrance Examination Main exam 2024 session 2 is going to take place on 4 April 2024. This is a national level examination which will take place in more than 300 cities in India and 22 cities outside India.

What is JEE exam ?
Joint Entrance Exam is a national level entrance examination to take admissions in top engineering institutes in the country like IITs, NITs, CFTIs etc. It is conducted in two phases which are of different levels of complexity. The scores obtained by students in these exams are used to prepare a final ranking list which is later used by all the engineering institutes to accept admissions.
Levels of JEE exam
1.JEE Mains
JEE Mains is the primary level of exam which includes two papers i.e Paper 1 and Paper 2. Both conducted in CBT (Computer Based Test) mode. Paper 1 is for admissions in courses like B.E/B.Tech. Paper 2 is for courses like B. Arch, B.Planning. There is a ‘Drawing Test’ that takes place in Pen and Paper mode. Students can participate in the JEE Main examination for 3 consecutive years. The exam is conducted twice a year.
2.JEE Advance
Candidates who clear JEE Main move forward to JEE Advance. It is also in CBT mode but the questions asked here are more deep and advanced knowledge based. The duration of both exams in 3 hours. The candidates can attempt the examination only two times in two consecutive years.
Eligibility for JEE Mains 2024
- Age– No age limit by NTA. However the age limits of institutes that they want to take admission in may apply.
- Educational Qualification– 12th pass from CBSE board or a recognised state board. Or any equivalent course from a recognised institution.
- Year of appearance in last exam– Only those candidates who have passed the Class 12/equivalent examination in 2022, 2023, or those who are appearing in Class 12/equivalent examination in 2024, are eligible to appear in JEE (Main) – 2024.

- Visit official website of NTA for JEE mains 2024 i.e jeemainsession2.ntaonline.in/ frontend/web/ advancecityintimationslip/ index.
- Enter your application number.
- Then adjust your Date of birth in the next column.
- Select the course you are applying for i.e B.Tech/B.Tech or B.Arch/B.Planning. also known as paper 1 and paper 1.
- Enter your security pin or Captcha and then click ‘submit’.
- Your JEE main 2024 advance city intimation slip is ready to download.
