e-Prerana Registration Form 2024 

Education Ministry of India under its New Education Policy 2020, starts an experiential learning program called PRERANA. It is implemented by NVS (Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti) for students in class 9 to 12^th. . Prerana is a week long residential program that takes place in Vernacular School in Vadnagar, Gujarat. The batch of students who get selected get a chance to learn about all the important aspects of history, science and health that helps expanding their horizons. The program is focused on 9 main visions which help students answer 3 main questions about themselves. Topics like Ayurveda, Sports, Astronomy, performing arts, legends, Digital classroom, 3D printing etc make up majority of program.

The registration for Prerana Program start from the month of March 2024 and are valid until April 2025. Students in class 9^th to 12^th can register on the official website. Provide necessary details about school, their talents, achievements to get selected for program. Students are require to bring sample of their local art, prepare interesting poems in native language along with their necessary things. They get a certificate upon completion which helps them in future. Total 20 students get selected from 10 districts of country. Cost of accommodation and transport is borne by Culture Ministry of India.

What is Prerana Program 2024?

Prerna program is launched by Ministry of Education to facilitate indigenous knowledge among the youth India. Its an extension of New Economic Policy 2020 implemented by KVS. Prerna Program 2024 is one week long experiential learning program that takes place for one week. The program takes place at Vernacular School which start in 1888 in Vadnagar, Gujarat. The registrations open for entire year while 20 students are selected for each week.

Students in class 9^th and 12^th get to exhibit their indigenous talent and also learn about other arts in the country. There are 10 boys and 10 Girls where 2 students (1 boy and 1 girl) are selected from each district. There is a backup candidate (1 girl, 1 boy) as well. The process has total 3 levels, it starts with registration of student. Each school organise ‘Prerna Utsav’ in which students participate and display their talents. Then students participate in district level ‘Prerna Utsav’ where 30 students selected. Finally personal interview of these 30 students takes place. These students move on to attend the final ‘Prerna Utsav’ in Gujarat.

Selection Process for Prerana Program 2024

The selection of this program includes total 3 stages. It starts when the students register for the program. The details of each stage is as follows:

0	Students need to register themselves on the official website. Then participate in ‘Prerana Utsav’ organise by their school.
1	Select best 2 students from each school from class 9th to 12th.
2	At each district a ‘Prerna Utsav’ takes place in a Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya. Participation of students selected at school level in activities organised on topics like ‘Why should I be selected for Prerana’, ‘My vision for India’ and ‘Viksit Bharat’ Following the activities, selection of 30 students (15 boys and 15 girls) based on their personality assessment and suitability for the program
3	Personal interview of selected 30 students in JNV 2 participants (1 boy and 1 girl) and 2 backup participants (1 boy and 1 girl) finally selected from each district
