Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC), Ranchi is set to release results of its intermediate board examinations/ 12^th class final results 2024. This year more than 7.4 Lakh students appeared in 12^th and 10^th class exams, whereas in 12^th class alone around 3.44 lakh students appeared for JAC intermediate exam 2024. Jharkhand board intermediate results 2024 are set to announce in May. The exams of 12^th class took place from 6-26 February 2024. JAC 2024 12^th exams started with vocational subject and ended with political science exam.

In 2023 JAC 12^th exams total 2.25 Lakh students appeared and the results of JAC 12^th release on May 23 2023 for science stream and on May 30 for Arts and Commerce stream of 2023 batch.

Results release on official website of JAC. All 12^th class students can enter their board details and get their Marksheet. In case they are not satisfied with their marks they can apply for re-evaluation of their answersheet when dates are announced. JAC 2024 compartment exams are expected to take place in August 2024 for students who didn’t score passing marks in any subject. The results for JAC 12^th compartment exams 2024 later release in September 2024.

About JAC

Jharkhand Academic Council is a state government agency responsible for academic administration in the state of Jharkhand, India. The agency amended to supervise the government recognized academic institutions, including primary and higher secondary schools. It was established by the government of Jharkhand after the enactment of the Jharkhand Academic Council Act, 2003 by the state legislature and governor. JAC was primarily constituted for conducting intermediate, secondary, and madrasa-level examinations of the candidates registered with government-recognized institutions (JAC-affiliated).Dr Anil Kumar Mahto appointed as new JAC Chairman on 10 December 2021.

Duties and Functions of JAC

• To grant permission for opening and closing of intermediate college, elementary and secondary-level institutions under its jurisdiction.
• To specify the courses of instruction and prescribe
• To select textbooks for the prescribed examinations.
• To publish the results at the secondary school and higher secondary levels.
• To grant diplomas or certificates to eligible students who have passed its examination.
• To recognize or de-recognize educational institutions at the secondary or higher secondary level.
• To conduct inspections of government recognized institutions, ensuring that required facilitates are available and functions of staff.
• To cancel registration of any registered private institution that do not meet the proper conditions.
• To supervise the institutions affiliated to it, and exercise various other powers amended to it by law.

2. Under the ‘Latest Notification’ section, click on ‘JAC Annual Intermediate Examination Results 2024’.
3. Enter your JAC 12^th roll code and roll number.
4. Click on the ‘Submit’ button.

JAC intermediate results Re-evaluation and compartment exam 2024

After JAC announce 12^th results in may students who not satisfied with their marks can apply for re-evaluation. Students who score less than 33% in any subject have to sit for compartment exams starting in the month of August 2024 (tentatively). Students can go to official website of JAC and click on link to apply for JAC intermediate re-evaluation of answer sheet. They can click on the link which activates after the results get announce about ‘JAC intermediate 2024 compartment exam’. Students can pay for the fee and then download admit card for the exams that expected to take place in the month of August.
