Recently Gujarat Samras Hostels release Provisional Merit List of Students Eligible for Fresh Admission in Samaras Hostels (ROUND: 9) on 27 February 2024. Gujarat Samras Hostel in Jamnagar has one Girls hostel and one Boys hostel. However there are total 20 hostels under Gujarat Samras Chhatralay Society. Admissions in all hostels of Gujarat Samras Society are going on. The students whose name is in the provisional merit list shall visit the premises for further document verification.

There are total 500 seats in each of the two Gujarat Samras Chhatralay Society Girls Hostel and Boys hostel, Jamnagar. 76 seats are reserved for SC Category students in each hostel. Admissions in Gujarat Samras Chhatralay Society Hostel is on Merit basis. A combined Provisional list of Girls and Boys hostel releases every time. These Provisional lists release until there are no seats left in any of the Hostels.

About Gujarat Samras Chhatralay Society Hostels

The Government of Gujarat has established “Gujarat Samras Chhatralay Society” in September 2016 under Social Justice and Empowerment Department. The society shall function as an institutional arrangement at district level for providing facilities to students of all caste – SC/ST/OBC/EBC. There are currently 20 Girls and Boys hostels running under the society in 10 districts of State.

• Students from all castes and background get equal opportunities and facilities to facilitate coherence under same roof.
• There is a special quota for students with weaker backgrounds and disabilities. Children who are wards of Widow or orphan can also apply for admissions.

There are reservations for ST, SEBC and EBC as well in Gujarat Samras Chhatralay Society hostels. 15% seats are reserved for SC Students and similarly 30% for ST, 45% for SEBC and 10% for EBC category students.

2. Click on ‘Register’ option.
3. Enter your Name, Date of Birth, Mobile number, email id and Adhaar number. Set a password and then again click on ‘Register’.
4. Read the rules carefully and then click on ‘I agree’ option.
5. Click ‘save and next’.
6. Fill in your personal details, Education details, other details like previous hostel name, special category if applicable.
7. Upload documents like last exam marksheet, Adhaar card, Income certificate.
8. Click on yes for the final declaration document.
9. Submit your Gujarat Samras Chhatralay Society hostels application.
