Directorate of Government Examination, Tamil Nadu will soon release results of Higher Secondary Certificate /12th classes 2024 on 6 May 2024. Tamil Nadu HSE exams for Arts, Science and commerce took place from 1-22 March 2024. Admit cards for DGE HSE 2024 exams released on 19 February 2024. Around 9.38 Lakh students appeared in 2024 12th class exams conducted by DGE, Tamil Nadu. There are around same ratio of Girls and boys including one transgender students from 12, 616 Schools of Tamil Nadu.
In 2023 around 8 Lakh students appeared in HSE exams from which 3.84 Lakhs were boys and rest were girls. Last year the exams of 12th class Tamil Nadu start from 13 March-3 April 2023. Results of HSE Tamil Nadu 2023 then released on 8 May. Pass percentage of Tamil Nadu class 12th exams in 2023 stood at 94.03% where girls score 96.38% and boys pass percentage was 91.45%. In 2023 HSE science stream pass percentage was 96.32% whereas for commerce it was 91.63%, for Arts it was 81.89% and for vocational stream it was 82.11%. S. Nandhini from Dundigal district of Tamil Nadu tops Tamil Nadu class 12th exams 2023 and she is a commerce student who score 100 in all subjects.

Finally on 6 May they can visit official website, click link, enter their details and download their HSE 2024 marksheet. They can later apply for re-evaluation and compartment exams for HSE 2024 when notification release.

About DGE Tamil Nadu
The Directorate of Government Examinations has been entrusted with the onerous responsibility of conducting the Board examinations for the students studying in the State Board in Std X and XII. The mark certificates issued to the students of standard X and XII is considered as a vital and valued document for continuing higher education and for seeking job opportunities. It is conducting examinations and issuing certificate for Diploma in Elementary Education , Government Technical Examinations and ESLC (Eight Std – Private Study). In addition , Scholarship Examinations such as NMMS, TRUSTS and National Talent Search Examinations are conducted by this Directorate. It has 7 Regional offices at Madurai, Coimbatore, Tiruchirappalli, Tirunelveli , Chennai, Cuddalore and Vellore. The logistics work for transporting of stationery items related to examinations, distribution of fund for conducting examinations and and distribution of Mark Certificate are performed by this regional offices.

How to apply for Tamil Nadu 12th 2024 results revaluation?
The students who are not satisfied with their marks can wait for DGE Tamil Nadu to announce for 12th revaluation application notification. Students can simply click on the link when its active, then pay for fee and submit their application. DGE Tamil Nadu HSE fee for revaluation is Rs 505 per subject. The entire process takes around 15 days. Tamil Nadu 12th results revaluation notification is likely to release in June 2024.
