Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) Pilani for its campus in Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad starts admissions in their integrated first Degree (FD) Programmes for academic year 2024-25. There are total 5 BITS campuses in Pilani, Goa, Hyderabad, Mumbai and Dubai. BITS Pilani Admission applications open from 14th January 2024 tto 11th April 2024.
Students who want to take admission in BITS Pilani’s B.E, B. Pharm or M.Sc courses can apply for admissions on its official website. Admissions in BITS Pilani is based on an Entrance test called BITSAT 2024. BITS Admission Test-2024 is Computer Based Test which takes place in 2 sessions on different dates. Students can apply for one or both sessions of BITSAT 2024. Candidates who want to apply for admission in BITS Pilani must score passing marks in their 12th class with PCM subjects. They need to have necessary qualification from a recognised board or institution. There is also a provision of direct admissions in BITS Pilani to toppers from respective boards.
BITS Pilani release Session-1 Test city allotment slip recently release on their official website. BITSAT-2024 will take place from 19-24th May 2024. After this exam the BITSAT session-2 application window will open between 22 May- 10th June. Hall ticket for BITSAT is expected to release on 15th May and remains open until the exam takes place.

Eligibility for BITS Pilani admissions 2024
- Citizenship: Both Indians and foreigners can apply for BITS Pilani admissions 2024.
- Age: No age limit is there to take admission in BITS Pilani College.
- Educational Background: Candidates either appearing in class 12th exam 2024 or pass in 12th Exam 2023 are eligible to sit for admissions.Candidates need to score 75% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, Bio/Maths and individually 60% in each subject. Proficiency in English language is also a requirement

Instructions for BITSAT 2024
- A candidate can take BITSAT for a maximum of 2 times in a year.
- BITSAT 2024 take place in 2 sessions on different dates. Candidates can choose to sit in one or both of sessions of BITSAT 2024.
- Students who are unable to appear in Session-1 of BITSAT get an option of appearing in BITSAT session-2.
- There is different fee for one and both session of BITSAT 2024 which is non-refundable.

In addition to applying and appearing for BITSAT-2024, candidates have to also apply for admission to BITS giving details of their 12th marks and preferences to different degree programmes offered at three Indian campuses of BITS. The prescribed application form for admission, the detailed application procedure, details of academic flexibilities such as Dual Degree, Transfer, etc.; admission modality, and the final list of degree programmes offered will be made available at the BITS admission website, tentatively in June 2024. The completed application form with the details of their 12th marks and preferences to different degree programmes along with the required application fee has to be submitted online at the BITS admission website during 01st to 28th June, 2024.
