The Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC), in order to process admission of students into HS 1^st year class for session 2024-25, has started registration process from 23 April, 2024. Students seeking admission in different institutions (Universities/ Degree Colleges/ Senior Secondary Schools/ Higher Secondary Schools) under AHSEC, can apply through DARPAN online portal. Students will be able to submit their applications through online mode for admission into different institutions by visiting official websites. Concerned students are advised to go through the given guidelines/ SOP, important dates in detail for compliance and smooth conduct of admission process. The last date to submit the AHSEC HS 1^st year Admission application is 02 may, 2024.

DARPAN AHSEC HS 1st year Admission Features

The Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) launch an online platform called ‘DARPAN’ for admission into Higher Secondary (1st year) course under AHSEC. Students that are pass in HSLC examination 2024 from the SEBA Board or any other National boards are eligible to apply for the admission.

2. Students can also download DARPAN AHSEC Merit List 2024 pdf from the login portal.
3. This portal secures your important details as you can set a pin for your account.
4. This is a very easy portal to use, anyone can access it at the comfort of their house.
5. DARPAN AHSEC HS 1st year Admission portal doesn’t charge any extra fees for online admission.

 

AHSEC HS 1st year Admission Guidelines/ SOP for Students

1. Submit application online only through DARPAN Portal.
2. A students can apply up to maximum of five no. of applications.
3. To edit profile of a student, they can visit ‘PROFILE TAB’ in student dashboard before preparation of selection list by institution. The profile of a student can be edited only once.
4. The published Selection List and Waiting List for admission into HS first year will be made available in the DARPAN portal for students. Students will be notified of their selection through SMS.
5. After publication of selection list, candidates will be allowed to approve only one institution for admission using their login ID in the portal. After approval, there will be no option for a candidate to change institution. Candidate must take admission in institute concerned within the stipulated time period to complete admission process.
6. A student can change their preferred subject(s)/ stream at the time of admission. The institute concerned will have to update the same in the portal on day of admission.

How to Apply for HS 1st Year Online Admission 2024 through DARPAN?

Students who wish to pursue HS 1st year course in various Higher Secondary schools/Colleges/Universities under AHSEC are required to apply online through DARPAN Admission Portal. To submit their applications, they can follow the steps outlined below:-

1. Visit DARPAN Online Admission Portal.
2. Click on the “Student Admission” link.
3. Register yourself by providing necessary details in the application form.
4. Now after successful registration, click on the “Student Admission” option.
5. Enter your Mobile number, Date of Birth, and four-digit pin and click on the Login
6. After successful login, enter the details in the application form for the admission.
7. In the end, click on the “Submit”. Your Darpan online admission application is now successful.
